Packaging line for chaff

Willems installed a complete packaging line for packing chaff. This product is used as a high-quality animal food, mainly for horses.The chaff needs special method for pressing and packaging, as this product does not tend to stick together after pressing. Willems developed a special method for handing this kind of product.  The line includes a fully automatic robot stacking system. Bales are stacked square on a pallet, which leaves an opening in the middle. The robot puts automatically a bale in the middle opening, so no space is wasted on the pallet. Maximum pallet load is the key for shipping such product world-wide. Once the bales are stacked, a Willems stretch wrapper fully automatically wraps the finished pallet. So all is good to go to go, good quality product, logistically properly stacked on pallets, and well protected wrapped in foil. Again to a happy end user of the product.
